Engineer Yasser Idris confirmed that Andrew Parsons’ visit to the Egyptian Olympic Committee Museum comes within the framework of fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Egyptian Olympic Committee and the International Paralympic Committee, adding that Parsons has brought about a comprehensive renaissance in the International Paralympic Committee since he assumed responsibility, and this was evident in the success of the Paralympic competitions that were held in Paris last August.
In the same context, the President of the International Paralympic Committee praised the efforts made by the Egyptian Olympic Committee and the development that Egyptian sports witnessed in the recent period, expressing his gratitude for the honor he received from Engineer Yasser Idris and granting him the Egyptian Olympic Committee necklace.
The President of the International Paralympic Committee affirmed his readiness for further cooperation with Egyptian sports institutions in this regard in order to continue the process of advancing Egyptian sports that began during recent years and the construction boom it has witnessed in sports infrastructure, which enhances Egypt’s ability to host all sporting events, noting that He was keen to visit Egypt because of its great standing on the international sports scene and the sporting stability it has witnessed in the recent period in light of the unlimited support for sports from Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, and the presence of Engineer Yasser Idris Ali.
