This technology will create a qualitative shift in the quality of Internet services and improve users’ experience by providing higher speeds, lower response times, and greater efficiency in using wireless networks, with the ability to accommodate a larger number of users on internal Internet networks.
The agency also introduced a number of new services and licenses in the Egyptian market, such as fifth-generation mobile phone services, issuing call center licenses, and providing the feature of showing annoying promotional calls, in addition to Internet of Things services, data center services, and cloud computing, targeting investments estimated at about $5 billion during the year. coming years.
Increased mobile call rates
Mohamed Shamroukh, CEO of the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, also announced that the agency has initially agreed to increase the prices of telecommunications services in Egypt.

He stated that the expected increase in the prices of telecommunications services comes as a result of the high operating costs facing mobile companies, pointing out that the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority believes that companies have the right to review the prices of services.
