18 schools participated in the management Luxor Educational initiative in the Our Health in Our Environment initiative, with inventions, models and models at the Egyptian Public Library in Luxor, in which students were keen to present ideas to preserve the environment and water, in cooperation with UNICEF and the drinking water and sanitation network in Luxor.
Luxor students’ innovations to preserve the environment through the Our Health in Our Environment initiative
The initiative’s coordinator for the Luxor Educational Administration, Maryam Habib, told Cairo 24: The initiative aims to identify the problems facing the environment and find creative and proposed solutions for them.
The initiative coordinator added: The duration of this project, which was specified by UNICEF, is 3 years, and a year has passed so far. An exhibition was also held in which crafts and models were presented to students and models as models for recycling environmental waste.
In cooperation with UNICEF, Luxor Education organizes an exhibition within the activities of the Our Health in Our Environment initiative
The initiative coordinator indicated: A group of school principals, teachers, and students were honored who demonstrated their seriousness and good cooperation during the initiative’s activities. A number of media professionals who had an influence in society and Luxor Street were also honored with innovative media ideas, namely Yasser Al-Oteifi and Ahmed Al-Oteifi.
This comes in accordance with the directives of Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and under the patronage of Engineer Abdel Muttalib Emara, Governor of Luxor, and in the presence of Dr. Safwat Jareh Abdel Azim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Luxor, and leaders from Luxor education.
