Today, Sunday, Dr. Shaden Muawiyah, President of Sadat City University, opened the Seventh Book Fair at Sadat City University, in the presence of Dr. Khaled Jaafar, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Ahmed Azab, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Head of the Exhibition, which is organized by the Faculty of Physical Education and the University’s Central Library during The period from December 1 to December 8.
The opening was witnessed by Dr. Mushira Al-Ajmi, Vice Dean of the College of Physical Education for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Supervisor of Organizing the Exhibition, and Vice Deans of the College of Physical Education.
The opening also witnessed the presence of deans and deans of colleges and institutes at the university, a number of faculty members, researchers and students at the university, and representatives of publishing houses participating in the exhibition, and the supervision of Mona Abdel Jalil, Director of the Library Administration, Nisreen Al-Khayyat, Director of the Central Library Administration, and Saeed Turki, Director of the Library of the College of Education. Sports.
Dr. Shaden Muawiyah inspected the publishing houses participating in the exhibition, and praised the efforts of the participants in the exhibition, adding that the book fair is one of the most important ways to advance scientific research, which contributes to raising the university’s classification.
The university president praised the good organization of the Faculty of Physical Education and the university’s central library, expressing her happiness with the opening of the exhibition, and that she appreciates the value of culture, continuing: The student must be cultured and not be satisfied with science only, and organizing such exhibitions contributes to directing university students to reading and culture in every way. Scientific, economic and social fields, and learning about the cultures of others, adding that what she saw at the exhibition, from the most important books and ancient cultural heritage through to the modern, is great and wonderful work.
12 publishing houses participate in the Sadat University exhibition
The organizing committee explained that the exhibition was attended by 12 publishing houses, and was well received on its first day. It was visited by a number of school students in Sadat City, the Tenth Experimental Language School, and the Fatima Al-Zahraa Language School.
She explained that there are discounts on book prices ranging from 15 to 20%, noting that the university allocates buses to transport school and college students to and from the exhibition, and the exhibition was well received by all attendees due to its diversity in the various scientific and cultural fields.
