The market includes more than 30 outlets selling various basic commodities, including meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and fruits, at discounted prices of up to 20% compared to traditional markets.
There is also a mobile technology center service vehicle, and drinking water company services, in addition to providing medical team services for the presidential initiative 100 Million Health, free of charge to citizens.
The Directorate confirmed that these markets come within the framework of the governorate’s keenness to provide a decent life for citizens, and reduce the burden on their shoulders, by reducing the intermediate trading circles between the merchant and the consumer.
She indicated that there are plans to expand the scope of these markets to include all Alexandria neighborhoods, and to repeat them throughout the week.
Citizens received this initiative with great satisfaction, stressing that it contributes to alleviating living burdens and providing goods at reasonable prices.
