Artist revealed Mr. Sadiq The reason for his lack of artistic work in the recent period, and his return to his profession, selling the bearings that he used to work with, before his appearance in the field of acting.
He revealed in his statements with Cairo 24 that the reason was that the works offered to him were not compatible with him, indicating that his artistic history only allows him to return with suitable works.
Sayed Sadiq said: I have not retired from art. I am waiting for a good job. I am still in the union and participate in the union’s activities. The jobs that come to me will come to me less than me. If I accept the jobs that are offered to me now, people will forget me. I have been working since the era of fine art. I am working in my profession. This current situation comes from acting, because I know that when an artist is disabled, it is difficult for people, and acting is my hobby and I cannot make a living from it.
The works of Sayed Sadiq
It is worth noting that Sayed Sadiq participated in the series Professor and Head of Department, in which he played the role of teacher Abu Ajila, whose events revolved around a left-minded university professor, who works in the College of Agriculture, and is a rebel against the political situation before the January 25 revolution.
A group of artists participated in the artwork, including: Adel Imam, Sayed Sadiq, Najwa Ibrahim, Muhammad Abdel Rahman, Tariq Abdel Aziz, and the late artist Haitham Ahmed Zaki. It was directed by Wael Ihsan, and he also participated in the Haqq Dead series with Hassan Al Raddad and Amy Samir Ghanem. In addition to the series Back and Back with Ahmed Al-Sakka.
