Two days ago, OpenAI, a company specialized in artificial intelligence, launched their new product, ChatGPT. At first glance, it looks like another chatbot from a new company, nothing more, but in the past 48 hours, it has turned the Internet upside down!
But what exactly is it, and is it a free to use online tool?
Sam Altman’s OpenAI launched an AI chatbot on November 30 called ChatGPT, and it’s taking the world of technology and the Internet to another level, if we’re being honest.
OpenAI, a company founded by Elon Musk and Altman in 2015, its new chatbot app is able to understand human dialogue and generate detailed text about a human’s life as if you were writing about a close friend.
The GPT implementation was first researched in 2018 and two versions have been released so far, but neither has been released to the general public. So what is it and how do you use it?
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT (Generative Pre-Training) is an AI chatbot system similar to chatbots for online customer support. However, it is a big step forward because it is not limited to several answer options, and the application, which is trained by artificial intelligence and machine learning, can provide information and answer questions through a conversation and directly.
ChatGPT can do more for you than just offer you a normal conversation; OpenAI has provided it with the ability to correct grammar, summarize difficult text into simpler concepts, convert movie titles into emojis, and even fix errors in Python code.
At the time of writing, there were approx 49 different tools Tested on ChatGPT.
Is GPT Chat free to use?
Yes, ChatGPT is currently free to use during the OpenAI evaluation period. The company hopes to use the reviews to improve the final version of its ChatGPT app.

Some international opinions about ChatGPT:
These are some of its exceptional applications and capabilities that have amazed its users:
Here one of the programmers gives him a programming code and asks him to find the problem (bug) in it! He not only found the problem, but he fixed the code and gave a comprehensive explanation of the solution method!
ChatGPT could be a good debugging companion; it not only explains the bug but fixes it and explains the fix ???? pic.twitter.com/5x9n66pVqj— Amjad Masad ⠕ (@amasad) November 30, 2022
Here is a programmer explaining to ChatGPT what he wants in text form, so that the tool writes a complete code that implements what he requested… in several programming languages, and for different platforms!
ChatGPT by @OpenAI does really well with coding questions. Here I ask how to build a 3-column footer with Tailwind. I then follow-up and ask for a React version, more realistic copy, and mobile responsiveness. It nails it perfectly. pic.twitter.com/lhhH9FHpld— Gabe ???? (@gabe_ragland) November 30, 2022
As for this tweeter, he used advanced artificial intelligence and asked the ChatGPT tool to write a description of a distinctive and unusual living room. He copied the results and pasted them into the Midjourney tool to convert texts into images, and the results were strong.
OK so @OpenAI‘s new #ChatGPT can basically just generate #AIart prompts. I asked a one-line question, and typed the answers verbatim straight into MidJourney and boom. Times are getting weird…???? pic.twitter.com/sYwdscUxxf— Guy Parsons (@GuyP) November 30, 2022
Here’s another that asks the tool to write a hypothetical “made-up” scene from the popular series Seinfeld

Here is a doctor asking the tool about medical symptoms and asking her for a medical diagnosis ????⚕️…and the answers are frighteningly accurate!
I’m testing out healthcare scenarios on the new OpenAI chatbot and am very impressed. Seems like this could have potential as a medical chatbot, but obviously need to check for biases and misinformation. #NeurIPS #NeurIPS2022 pic.twitter.com/mBQPIsrclf— Roxana Daneshjou MD/PhD (@RoxanaDaneshjou) December 1, 2022
All these amazing uses in less than two days! To understand the power of this tool, imagine: You have a friend who has mastered all knowledge in various fields and specializations and can answer in easy language any question that comes to mind at any time… and even chat with you and exchange stories and events in a fun and creative way.
We believe that this tool is revolutionary in every sense of the word… and will irreversibly change the rules of the game, and we do not rule out that Google will be negatively affected as the use of this tool increases and it becomes available to everyone.
