I visited Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local DevelopmentDr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Major General Khaled Megawer, Governor of North Sinai, the Egyptian Red Crescent’s logistical center for siblings from the Gaza Strip in Durgham in the city of Al-Arish, in the presence of Dr. Amal Imam, Executive Director of the Egyptian Red Crescent.
Minister of Local Development from Sinai: We will spare no effort in providing support and assistance to our brothers in Palestine
During the visit, the Minister of Local Development listened to a detailed explanation from the workers and volunteers of the Egyptian Red Crescent about the details of the process of delivering humanitarian aid being sent to Gaza, which includes medicines, foodstuffs, electric generators, sheets and blankets, as well as oxygen tubes and necessary medical supplies. This comes within the framework of Egypt’s continued support for the Palestinian brothers in light of the difficult circumstances that the Gaza Strip is going through.
She expressed her appreciation for the efforts made by the Egyptian Red Crescent and volunteers to secure the delivery of aid, praising the great cooperation between all concerned parties to ensure that aid arrives quickly and efficiently.
She stressed the importance of continuing these humanitarian initiatives to support the Palestinian people in their ordeal, noting that the Egyptian state will spare no effort in providing support and assistance to the brothers in Palestine in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
At the conclusion of their visit to the logistics center, the delegation took a souvenir photo with Egyptian Red Crescent volunteers, in appreciation of their distinguished humanitarian efforts in providing support and aid to the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.
After that, the Minister of Local Development and Dr. Maya Morsi inspected the customs warehouse of the Egyptian Red Crescent in Al-Arish, which was established with the facilitation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for the purpose of storing international humanitarian aid arriving by air and sea into the Gaza Strip until it enters, ensuring that trucks do not accumulate in front of the Rafah crossing.
