The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the special conditions for working as chairman or deputy of the Management Committee and the System and Monitoring Committee for technical diploma exams of various types: industrial, agricultural, commercial, and hotel, after opening the door for applications for the academic year 2024-25.
Conditions for selecting chairs of technical diploma examination committees 2025
The Ministry of Education confirmed that whoever is appointed as the head or deputy head of a system and control committee, and the head or deputy head of a management committee must take into account the following conditions:
- Obtaining a high qualification for the committee chairman, preferably for the committee deputy.
- The candidate must be a technical education worker: commercial, hotel, agricultural, or industrial, for the job for which he is nominated as head or agent.
- The head of the committee or the deputy of the committee must each hold the first job grade or its equivalent as a first grade teacher, at least. Obtain an excellent rating for those subject to Law No. 81 of 2016 regarding the Civil Service Law and a competency rating for those subject to Law No. 155 of 2007 and its amendments in a report. - Experience in examination work of not less than three years in a supervisory position within one of the administration committees or the system and control committees, head of a room department or deputy of a room department. An exception to this requirement may be made during the interview committee when needed in order to give the opportunity to choose the best person who has sufficient knowledge of computer science. - He must have leadership personality traits and be known for his competence, good morals, and strong personality to advance the work.
- He must not have relatives among those applying to take the exam up to the fourth degree in the same committee and the second degree at the republic level in terms of quality.
- He must not have served more than three years as chairman of the Administration – System and Monitoring Committee, as well as the committee’s deputy. The committee’s deputy who has spent three years as deputy in the committee may apply to chair the committee if the conditions are met.
- Not to impose any of the penalties stipulated by law unless the penalty is erased.
- He shall not be subject to retirement before December 31, for the heads and deputies of the management committees and the system and oversight committees.
- Nominations for committees are made from within the sectors to which these committees belong, and nominations are made by the central administration and technical education schools from outside the sectors if necessary.
