Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, inspected one of the public libraries that provides a free book reading service in the Shinzo Abe area in Nasr City, which the state established in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to spread public libraries in all neighborhoods.

The Governor of Cairo stressed that the opening of the library came out of our belief in the importance of the library’s role in spreading and deepening knowledge and science, noting that this aims to encourage young people to read, research and raise the cultural level.

The library is among a group of libraries published by the state in several regions in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, and it includes a large collection of books in various branches of science and knowledge, children’s books, stories, and others.

During his visit, the Governor of Cairo met with a group of school students who expressed their happiness at the presence of free libraries at this distinguished level, which satisfies their hobby of reading for free.

Earlier, the Cairo Governorate, through the Heliopolis district, launched a massive campaign to remove the occupancies that obstructed traffic for citizens, on Ibrahim Al-Laqani and Al-Salahdar Streets in the Heliopolis district, based on citizens’ complaints.

Mohamed Abdel Wahab, head of the Heliopolis district, confirmed that based on complaints received from residents of Ibrahim Al-Laqani and Al-Salhadar Streets, regarding their harm caused by the occupancy of commercial shops and their encroachment on the right of way, the Occupancy and Field Follow-up Departments were immediately directed to deal with the complaint and remove and remove all of the aforementioned occupancies. .
