Counselor Arabi Al-Tabbakh said that the events of this case go back about 6 months ago, when one of the accused suspected that there was an illicit relationship between his wife and his friend, the tuk-tuk driver, so he agreed with his brother to get rid of him.
He continued: The two accused sisters agreed with each other and called the victim and told him, “Come on, one night, we will go for a walk together.” Then they lured him towards a drain, strangled him with a rope, then beat him with a knife until they killed him. Then they threw bricks at him to make sure he was dead and threw him in a garbage drain.
Counselor Arabi Al-Tabbakh added that the security services were able to arrest the two accused brothers, as they confessed in detail to the Public Prosecution that they had committed this unfortunate crime.
He continued: There is no evidence of betrayal between the victim and the wife of one of the accused.. The whole matter is a friendship between the wives, but the accused were looking for a reason to kill the victim.
