The General Authority of Meteorology revealed expert forecasts regarding the weather conditions in Egypt today, Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
Today’s weather
The authority explained that the country will witness cold weather in the early morning and night, and moderate temperatures during the daytime hours in all parts.
The Red Sea is experiencing moderate weather conditions, with waves ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 metres, while the Mediterranean Sea is also moderate with the same level of wave height.
Rain and wind
The Meteorology Department said in its statement that Greater Cairo will witness water mist in the early hours of the morning, with active winds at a speed of 26 km/h, and the weather will be partly cloudy.
While southern Lower Egypt and the Canal cities will witness morning water mist with chances of light rain falling in separate areas, and moderate winds at the same speed.
She added that the northern coasts and northern Lower Egypt are recording water mist and chances of light to moderate rain in some areas, with active winds at speeds of 28 km/h, and the weather is partly cloudy.
South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges are dominated by wind activity at speeds of 28 km/h, with partly cloudy conditions.
North and South Upper Egypt also witness water mist in the early morning, with moderate winds at the same speed, and the weather is partly cloudy.

El Alamein: high 23°, low 15°.
Aswan: high 27°, low 15°.
Luxor: maximum 27°, minimum 15°.

Rafah: high 23°, low 14°.
