The Giza Criminal Court is considering the trial of 3 defendants on charges of assaulting a person inside an unlicensed clinic, by beating him, which led to his death.

The decision is issued under the chairmanship of Counselor Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa Al-Ganzouri, with the membership of advisors Bahaa Mohamed Attia, Wael Salah El-Din Hassan, Ahmed Sabry Abdel Salam, and the secretariat of Ahmed Refaat and Majed Mounir.
The referral order in Case No. 5844 of 2022, Giza Criminal Court, revealed that the defendants, “M.A,” 42 years old, barber, Y.H., 23 years old, unemployed, H. Sh., 42 years old, holder of a diploma in commerce, deliberately struck an Arab with a sword, and this led to his death by striking him with their hands, injuring him. They did not intend to kill him, but it cost his life.
The referral order added that the defendants, along with unknown others, detained the victim, without the order of one of the competent referees and in circumstances other than those authorized by law, by handcuffing him with ropes inside one of the unlicensed clinics, and this was accompanied by physical torture by beating him, causing the injury mentioned in the forensic report. By this means, they were able to paralyze his resistance.
