The General Assembly of the Egyptian Football Association will be held today, Tuesday, at the Federation’s headquarters in the 6th of October City, with the goal project in order to discuss the Federation’s agenda, including the adoption of the budget and the Federation’s elections, in which Hani Abu Raida is close to assuming the presidency of Al-Jabaliya for a new session until 2028, after no other list was nominated during the period. Applications were opened and closed.
Today.. The General Assembly of Jabaliya is being held, and Hani Abu Rida is awaiting the approval of 68 clubs to head the Football Association
The bylaws stipulate that 50 + 1 of the members of the General Assembly, 68 clubs out of 134, must be present in order to complete a quorum, provided that the 25% that Hani Abu Rida needs to vote must be in order to announce him as president of the Egyptian Football Association until 2028.
Today, Hani Abu Rida is waiting for him and his list to be announced for the presidency of the Football Association until 2028. Hani Abu Rida will invite the clubs to hold a meeting in order to develop an action plan during the next stage of Egyptian football.
The clubs renew their request from Hani Abu Rida to appoint a foreign head of the referees committee in the next stage
In another context, Cairo 24 learned that Hani Abu Rida made a number of contacts with club presidents, and most of them renewed his desire to have a foreign head of the referees’ committee, led by Al-Ahly Club, which had requested to the League of Clubs and the Federation led by Gamal Allam that the head of the committee be a foreigner.
Abu Raida intends to accept Yasser Abdel Raouf’s resignation
Sources revealed that Hani Abu Raida decided to accept the resignation of Yasser Abdel Raouf and the current committee with the formation of a new committee, with the presence of a foreign head of the referees committee during the coming period, specifically after Al-Ahly, Zamalek and a large number of clubs refused to let the head of the committee be Egyptian.
