The Damanhour Culture Palace Theater will witness the closing ceremony of the Libraries Cultural League activities, today, Thursday, at ten in the morning, in the presence of a large number of intellectuals, under the patronage of Dr. Jacqueline Azer, Governor of Beheira, and within the programs of the Ministry of Culture and the Presidential Initiative for Building a New Beginning for Man, to spread culture and enhance cognitive awareness. For new generations, to advance young people, and develop their cognitive abilities.
Closing of the Cultural League for Libraries at the Theater of the Palace of Culture in Damanhour
The General Authority for Cultural Palaces launched the Library League program entitled The Nile is Life, and the participating teams competed over a period of weeks in several cultural and intellectual fields, including reading, writing, and literary creativity, in addition to interactive competitions aimed at enhancing the role of libraries as vital cultural centers in society.
The conclusion of the league is scheduled to include the distribution of prizes to the winners who were advanced to the final at the governorate level and were given the opportunity to participate in various cultural activities.
It is worth noting that the Library League aims to revive the role of libraries in society and motivate youth and children to read and scientific research, as well as provide a platform for exchanging ideas and cultural projects that enhance the concept of the library as a place open to all.
