The Criminal Department of the Aswan Courts Complex held sessions during the last period in the case of the murderer of his cousin after she refused to agree to his engagement, during which it heard eyewitnesses to the murder, namely: the mother, the forensic doctor, and the investigations of the detectives also into the case and the arrest of the accused.
The details of the incident date back to the first of last December 2023, in the village of Al-Mamariye in the city of Al-Busayliyah, in the Edfu center, north of Aswan Governorate, when a young girl was killed by her cousin, who was shot by a gunshot, which led to her death, because he wanted to propose to her, but she agreed to the engagement. For another person and Ali, the body was transferred to the morgue to take the necessary procedures.
The warden of Edfu Police Station received a report stating that a young woman had died as a result of a gunshot wound after he opened fire inside her house, and she took her last breath immediately.
The security forces moved to the scene of the accident to conduct preliminary investigations and it turned out that her cousin killed her because she refused to marry him and got engaged to someone else.
It turned out that the deceased was called Sabira Abdel Nasser Ahmed, 18 years old, from the village of Al-Mamariye in the city of Al-Busayliyah.
The necessary report was drawn up regarding the incident and the Public Prosecution was notified to begin its investigations into it.
