Today, Wednesday, November 20, the Giza Criminal Court of Appeals is hearing the appeal session of the fifth defendant, “unemployed,” against his death sentence, in the case of accusing 6 defendants of killing a person due to disagreements between them.

The referral order stated that the defendants killed the victim Ziad. A, with premeditation, due to disagreements between them, that they had the intention and were determined to take his life, and for that purpose they prepared white weapons and tools “a sword, a shovel, a knife, a knife, a hammer,” and they headed to where he was, and as soon as they overpowered him, they beat and stabbed him with white weapons. Intending to kill him, causing injury that took his life.
Earlier, the Giza Criminal Court of Appeal reserved Essam Sasa’s appeal against his one-year imprisonment on charges of forgery in an official document, for the December 17 ruling session.
The Giza Criminal Court had previously decided to imprison festivals singer Issam Sasa and his brother Sunna, on the grounds of accusing them of forging an official document, and 10 years for the rest of the accused.
Festivals singer Issam Sasa said, in the first session of his trial against the backdrop of accusing him and his brother of forging an official document, related to the case of the accident on Al-Dairi, that he issued the power of attorney for the lawyer to assume his defense in the hit-and-run case, on the Egypt Digital Portal, explaining: I don’t know anything about forgery.
