The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media showing two people inside a private car parked on the side of a road in Giza Governorate, and one of them preparing a cigarette suspected of containing the drug hashish.
Two people were arrested on charges of drug use in Giza
Through examination, they were identified and arrested, a worker and a driver. When they were confronted, they confessed to having committed the incident and to using narcotic substances. Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
On the other hand, the security services continued their efforts to arrest drug dealers, as this comes in recognition of the Ministry of Interior’s awareness of the importance of continuing security vigilance, decisive response, and directing pre-emptive strikes against traffickers and possessors of narcotic substances, firearms, and unlicensed ammunition.
Information and investigations from the General Administration of Narcotics Control in the sector of combating drugs, unlicensed weapons and ammunition, in coordination with the relevant security services, confirmed that a highly dangerous gang formation consisting of 4 criminal elements was trafficking in narcotic substances, weapons and unlicensed ammunition in the Shubrakhit Police Station Department in the Beheira Security Directorate.
After the legalization of the procedures, they were targeted, and when they sensed the forces, they began firing bullets at them. The interaction resulted in their death, and they were in possession of seized items, most notably 50 kilograms of hashish – 5 kilograms of heroin – 2 kilograms of ice shabu – 3 automatic rifles – 2 shotguns – a number A large number of different bullets.
The financial value of the seized narcotics is estimated at approximately 6 million pounds, and legal measures have been taken.
