The investigation authorities decided to refer the young man, Saad Osama Al-Masfu, from the artist Amr Diab, to criminal trial, accusing him of assaulting the artist, and the November 23 session was set to consider the first trial sessions.
It included a referral order in accordance with Indictment Articles 241

Social media users circulated a clip of the incident of Amr Diab slapping a fan named Saad Osama, as the incident occurred during the wedding of the daughter of producer Mohamed Al-Saadi, to the son of businessman Mansour Amer, inside a hotel in Cairo.
The video clip of the incident of slapping Amr Diab included the appearance of a young man named Saad Osama, trying to take a picture with the plateau Amr Diab, and this young man grabbed Amr Diab’s clothes, which angered the artist, then he removed his hand and slapped him in the face with a pen, which astonished the audience.
