The Urban Development Fund aims to collect 20 billion pounds from apartment sales in governorate capitals by the end of 2024

Engineer Khaled Siddiq, President, said board of directors Urban Development Fund, The fund aims to achieve sales from units of the governorate capitals project – Dara – worth more than 20 billion pounds by the end of this year.

Siddiq added, in special statements to Cairo 24, that the units of the project to develop the governorates’ capitals – Dara – have witnessed great demand since the first units of the projects were put up for sale to citizens, pointing out that the Fund recently participated in an exhibition in Saudi Arabia, specifically in the capital, Riyadh, which it achieved during the exhibition period, which It lasted only 3 days, and sales worth more than half a billion pounds.

The head explained Urban Development Fund Board of Directors, The total number of units sold in the governorate capitals development project since January 2024 until now has reached about 7,488 units, in the governorates of: Cairo, Qalyubia, Kafr El-Sheikh, Sharqia, Dakahlia, Fayoum, Minya, Sohag, and Qena, pointing out that the total number of units sold in the project Fustat View reached 306 units, out of a total of 320 units implemented within the first phase of the project, while the second phase is planned to include the implementation of another 364 units, which began to be put forward for implementation in September 2024.

Siddiq said that the urgent phase of it is the implementation of 61 thousand units in 23 sites in 13 governorates, with the completion of networks, facilities and fences, with an implementation rate exceeding 98%, and he discussed in detail the status of the work flow at each site, and the connection of facilities and networks to it.
