Likewise, the egx70 index rose by 0.79% to reach 8,349 points, the egx30 weighted index rose by 0.26% to reach 38,027 points, and the egx30 total return index rose by 0.24% to reach 13,457 points.
Shares of 173 companies were traded, with shares of 59 companies rising, shares of 8 companies declining, while shares of 106 companies remained unchanged, with shares amounting to 88 million shares, worth 139.9 million pounds, through 5.8 thousand transactions.
