The New Hadara area in Alexandria Governorate witnessed the death of a woman, her daughter, and her grandson while they were crossing the railway line.
Walid Jumaa, the victim’s son, said that they were going to attend a wedding, and that his mother, his sister, and her son had died, adding that his sister was a young woman and had two other children.

The victim’s son added that his older sister was also with them in the accident, but she survived, and he collapsed, saying: May God give us patience, the tragedy is great.
The victim’s son added that they learned that another person was run over and killed while warning them of the train’s arrival, and that the train did not warn the citizens. He continued: All we ask for is that someone be present and warn people when the train is coming.
The police and ambulances moved to the scene of the accident, and the victims were transported to the morgue, and the necessary report was prepared for the concerned authorities to undertake investigations.
