A source inside Al-Ahly Club revealed the secret of Mohamed El-Shenawy, the goalkeeper of the club’s first football team, being removed from the Red Team’s roster for the Al-Ahly Bank match in the Premier League.

The source said in statements to Cairo 24 that the technical staff of the first football team in Al-Ahly club, led by Marcel Kohler, decided to give Mohamed El-Shenawy a break from the match according to a prior agreement.
The source added: There is a prior agreement between El-Shenawy and Kohler stipulating that he will rest if the technical director decides to give Mustafa Schubert the opportunity during any match.
Swiss Marcel Kohler, coach of the first football team at Al-Ahly club, chose 21 players for the Red Giants’ list for the Al-Ahly Bank match in the Premier League.
According to the list obtained by Cairo 24, Al-Ahly’s list for the National Bank match witnessed the absence of goalkeeper Mohamed El-Shenawy and Imam Ashour after their recent crisis, in addition to the absence of Taher Mohamed Taher due to suspension, while the list witnessed the return of defender Youssef Ayman.
Al-Ahly’s list for the Al-Ahly Bank match in the league is as follows:-
Goalkeepers: Mustafa Schubert, Hamza Alaa, Mustafa Makhlouf.
In the defense line: Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed, Youssef Ayman, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Khaled Abdel Fattah, Akram Tawfiq, Yahya Atiya Allah, Karim Al-Dabis.
In the midfield: Marwan Attia, Amr Al-Sulayya, Ahmed Nabil Kouka, Omar Al-Saei, Mohamed Magdy Afsha.
In the attacking line: Percy Tau, Reda Selim, Hussein Al-Shahat, Samir Mohamed, Mahmoud Abdel Moneim Kahraba.
