This visit comes within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to strengthen the historical relations between Cairo and Kuala Lumpur, which extend to many political, economic, cultural and religious fields.
The reception at the airport was attended by Rajai Nasr, Egyptian Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur, and Ambassador Mohamed Tarid Sufyan, Malaysian Ambassador to Cairo.
In another context, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chaired today, Saturday, the third meeting of the Board of Governors, to follow up on the work position on a number of files and services provided to citizens at the republic level, in the presence of Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development.
The Prime Minister began the meeting by indicating that he was keen during the recent period to hold a meeting with each governor separately, in the presence of the Minister of Local Development, with the aim of reviewing the position of the various projects within the scope of each governorate, as well as the challenges that these projects face in light of the specificity of each governorate, to work To solve it, in addition to continuing the field visits that he is keen to arrange on a regular basis to the different governorates in Upper and Lower Egypt.
