Today, the elections for student unions at universities begin, where the president of each university union and his deputy are elected, according to the timetable approved by the Minister of Higher Education.
Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadiq, President of Cairo University, received in his office Lieutenant General Imad al-Din Mustafa Adawy, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Cairo, and Dr. Assem Ahmed Hassan, Cultural Advisor at the Embassy of Sudan, to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides and to check on the conditions of Sudanese students studying at Cairo University.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel-Sadiq referred to the historical relations between Egypt and Sudan and their cooperation in the educational, cultural and research fields, stressing that Cairo University places all its capabilities at the service of its students from brotherly Sudan and provides them with all facilities with the aim of graduating distinguished cadres who contribute to achieving development.
