Through its pavilion inside the exhibition, the Egyptian Post will present a comprehensive presentation of its latest achievements in the fields of digital transformation and financial inclusion, developing post offices and infrastructure to provide integrated digital services, in addition to “Decent Life” projects, and developing the transport fleet and logistics services. With the aim of supporting the state’s plans to make it easier for citizens.
Professor Dalia El-Baz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority, said: “Egyptian Post is presenting this year at the Cairo International Information Technology Exhibition “CAIRO ICT 2024” many of the integrated digital services it provides,” noting that Egyptian Post is witnessing a remarkable development in the field of transformation. Ms. Dalia El-Baz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority, added that the Authority has implemented the largest plan to develop and revive historical offices and headquarters with the aim of preserving them and restoring their splendor, as part of the efforts made to preserve the state’s assets and heritage buildings, because of their great historical value, as they possess many Among the historical buildings that were built more than 100 years ago, including the main Cairo Post Office in Ataba, the Aswan Branch Post Office, the King Fouad Station Post Office in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, and the Post Office Assiut Maashaat Post Office in Assiut Governorate, the Maghagha Main Post Office in Minya Governorate, and the Shallal Post Office in Aswan were restored, developed and revived with an innovative vision to preserve their historical value and the original architectural design of the buildings, using the latest sustainability methods while preserving the unique architectural heritage and Egyptian identity, in addition to providing them with the latest Technological systems and solutions to provide all financial, postal, governmental and digital Egypt services to citizens.
Ms. Dalia El-Baz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority, indicated that the Egyptian Post has developed the services it provides and added new services, including the Egypt Digital Platform services and the “Waslha” service, which is one of the distinguished services launched by the Egyptian Post to support small projects and e-commerce, as It is an advanced shipping service that relies on artificial intelligence (AI) and geospatial (GIS) technologies, and it is one of the postal logistics services that serves e-commerce customers, whether customers or merchants, by transporting packages of products sold online from the seller to the consumer, in addition to serving all Citizens Those wishing to ship packages from (door to door) via the “Waslha” application, notarization and real estate registration services, and Ministry of Interior services such as “criminal status sheet – documents related to civil status such as national ID card, birth certificate, divorce certificate, death certificate, family registry.” Public Prosecution services such as “issuing a clearance certificate”, government transfer services, Ministry of Housing services, and Ministry of Education services such as “paying school fees and tablet fees” in addition to paying the fees of many universities, in addition to Financial inclusion services, including the disbursement of dues, installment payments, micro-consumer loans, and insurance companies, in addition to the deployment of approximately 2,000 automated teller machines (ATMs) throughout the Republic.
