This factory is affiliated with ABB Electrical Industries, with a capital of 800 million pounds and a production capacity of 240,000 units annually. It also employs 931 workers, and for this reason the factory plans to export 50% of its production to the countries of Germany, Italy, England, Greece, the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and some African countries.

Also, coordination was made with ABB Electrical Industries to allocate a training center from the centers of the Ministry’s Productive Competence and Vocational Training Authority to be under the company’s supervision to develop curricula and graduate graduates with the highest level of craftsmanship to meet the needs of the company’s factories.

In addition to this, the Minister directed the provision of buses to transport workers from the factory to LRT stations to facilitate the movement of workers to and from their workplace, with safer and more comfortable means of transportation, and all of this certainly contributes to increasing productivity rates.

Also, the Minister of Industry confirmed that the efficiency of roads and facilities, such as gas, water, sewage, and electricity, will be increased in industrial areas, as happened in the 10th of Ramadan City.

After all this, the minister inspected the factories of the Oriental Weavers Group, a leader in the textile industry, where he saw the glass pyramid made from the loom, as well as the Yarn Factory 1, and the CRM Carpet Factory, in addition to the developed warehouse.

The area of the group’s factories exceeds one million square meters, and its production capacity is about 150 million square meters annually. The company employs more than 19 thousand workers, and allocates about 65% of its production to export.

After that, the ribbon was opened and cut and the modern electroplating line was inspected. The factory, which is built on an area of 11,899 square meters, has a production capacity of 1.25 million pieces annually, and provides 150 job opportunities.

Also, the Minister inspected the Bavaria Industrial Complex, which specializes in the production of firefighting components and waste collection boxes of various capacities from engineering polymers for assembly in large cities to be used in recycling, and also the production of fire cabins and welded metal pipes in the production of fire extinguishing cabinets of various sizes, located on an area of 36 thousand square meters. square, and the number of workers in this factory is 856, and its annual sales volume is about 2.5 billion pounds.

Hence, the Minister directed that the requirements for moving units on metro lines must be electrical products, control panels, civil defense and firefighting equipment and components, locally manufactured.

As for the visit to the “Suwedy Pyramids” industrial complex for the development of industrial areas, which is located on an area of one million square meters, it included an inspection of an industrial area with 45 industrial facilities operating in multiple industries on an area of 500 thousand square meters, and a logistics and commercial area on an area of 250 thousand square meters.
