Actress Mona Hala spoke about the details of her film Tita, which participated in the 45th Cairo Film Festival, explaining that her aunt’s death from cancer had the biggest factor in her psychological state during work, in addition to revealing the fact that she was moving away from acting.
Mona Hala said, in her interview with Cairo 24, that she has not shied away from acting, adding: I am here and for hours I have work outside of Egypt to do and I will come back again. When Ahmed Samir sent me the paper for the movie Tita, I saw it very different, because it is a suspenseful, humane and horror movie, and the basic idea is It’s about the idea of motherhood, and I love this type of movie.
Regarding her preparations for the character, Mona Hala explained that her aunt’s death was the biggest factor in the condition she was in at work, saying: I had something happen before the movie that my aunt had leukemia and her condition was getting worse, and she died a day before filming the movie and I was the one who washed her, and after the burial the director He said that it would not be useful to postpone it because of the loss of production, and I worked because of the commitment.
Mona Hala continued: The truth is that the feelings I was feeling from my aunt’s death helped me, and it remains difficult and exhausting for the actor to take advantage of something that happened to him, but everything passes, thank God.

The film Tita belongs to the genre of mystery and psychological horror, and its duration is 22 minutes. Its story revolves around a mother and her son. After the death of her mother, the son becomes very attached to his grandmother and tries to imagine her with him in reality. Problems arise between the son and his mother until the relationship between them deteriorates.
