The Ministers of Business and Environment discuss the implementation of more environmental projects in industrial companies

Engineer Mohamed Shimi Wazir started Business sector General, and Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Minister of Environment, this Thursday morning, visited Al-Nasr Fertilizer Company “Smadco”, affiliated with the Holding Company for Chemical Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, where they were received by Major General A.H. Tariq Hamid Al-Shazly, Governor of Suez.

They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministries of Public Business Sector and the Environment, to implement more environmental projects in various industrial companies.

The two ministers and the Governor of Suez began the visit by holding a meeting with a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate from the Suez Governorate, within the framework of keenness to strengthen cooperation between the government and Parliament. During the meeting, the visions and proposals presented by the representatives were listened to, and a number of topics related to the Al-Nasr Fertilizer Company and the efforts made were discussed and reviewed. To achieve sustainability in the industrial and environmental fields, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Ramadan, Deputy Governor of Suez.

Developing companies and modernizing industrial processes using modern technology

The two ministers stressed that projects to develop companies and modernize industrial processes using modern technology must include achieving quality and sustainability standards and adhering to environmental requirements.

Parliament representatives praised the government efforts made to develop the industry and enhance cooperation between various stakeholders to achieve sustainable development, stressing their full support for all initiatives aimed at strengthening the industrial sector in the Suez Governorate.
