While receiving the players, the Minister of Sports expressed his pride and appreciation for the achievements made by the champions in the tournament, stressing that he considers them to be Olympic champions and not just champions of the talent project and the Olympic champion.

Sobhi called on the players to make more efforts, stressing their financial and academic support and that the way is paved for them to achieve more achievements for Egyptian sports.

The Minister of Sports praised the outstanding performance of the Egyptian champions, stressing that this achievement reflects the efforts made to support sports talent and prepare champions capable of competing in international forums.

The results of the tournament were that player Abdul Rahman Hussein Metwally won 6 gold medals in the 73 kg competition, and broke the world record for the clean lift by lifting 174 kg, exceeding the previous record of 166 kg, in addition to breaking the world record for the total with a total of 314 kg, exceeding the old record. Adult 310 kg.

The player Helmy Abdel Bari Helmy also won 3 gold medals in the 81 kg weight category, the player Shaima Abdel Nasser won 3 gold medals in the 71 kg weight category, the player Mirna Muhammad Ali Al-Tantawi also won 3 gold medals in the 55 kg weight category, and the player Noureddine Muhammad won 3 gold medals in the 55 kg weight category. He won 3 gold medals in the 67 kg weight category

Player Abdul Rahman Hussein also won the title of best player under 17 years, while Abdul Rahman won the title of best player under 20 years, and player Myrna Tantawi was crowned the title of best player under 20 years old, in an achievement that highlights Egyptian superiority in the sport of weightlifting and is added to the victories in the sport.
