Muhammad Gibran received Minister of LabourToday, Tuesday, in his office in the Administrative Capital, Ambassador Mohamed Trade bin Sufyan, Ambassador of the State of Malaysia to Egypt, within the framework of discussing ways to enhance future cooperation in all areas of joint work.
The two sides stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, and praised the results of the visit of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to Cairo, at the beginning of this month, and his meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his confirmation of his country’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and trade. And investment, education, culture and scientific research with Egypt.
The Minister of Labor discusses with the Ambassador of Malaysia cooperation in the fields of vocational training
Minister Gibran discussed with the Malaysian ambassador strengthening bilateral relations, unifying visions and coordination in international forums, and exchanging experiences in the fields of vocational training, given the renaissance that the Malaysian state has in this field, especially in the electronics sectors.
The Minister of Labor invited his Malaysian counterpart to visit Cairo to discuss all means of cooperation, and to discuss preparing a memorandum of understanding in areas related to the labor sector in the two countries.
Gibran explained that Egypt welcomes the increase in the volume of Malaysian investments within the country, especially since it has many investments in the fields of natural gas and the automobile industry, stressing the readiness of the Ministry of Labor to provide skilled and trained workers to serve these investments in cooperation with the Malaysian side.
