During the meeting, Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny issued a package of assignments to the heads of the new cities’ agencies to push development rates and raise the level of services provided to citizens in the new cities, stressing the necessity and importance of full integration and coordination between the presidency of the authority and the new cities’ agencies, to achieve development goals in the best possible way.
The Minister of Housing confirmed that we are working during the current period to achieve a set of strategic goals at the New Urban Communities Authority and its agencies, including maximizing and diversifying financial resources, especially sustainable resources, advancing the development of projects in accordance with priorities, and governing and controlling procedures to facilitate and accelerate the pace of work, in addition to improving Exploiting human potential, preparing a second generation of young cadres, qualifying them and involving them to assume responsibility.
The Minister directed the necessity of rationalizing spending and directing financial resources according to priorities and maximizing their benefit, raising the level of performance of technology centers and units dealing with developers and investors, limiting dealings and providing services to citizens to the technology center only, holding meetings with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, listening to their demands and problems and working to solve them. As well as enhancing communication with citizens through social media pages, informing them of information, refuting rumours, and paying attention to the level of hotline services for receiving complaints.
Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny also directed to maximize reliance on the local product and give preference to the product that contains the largest percentage of the local component, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and to support and support the localization of the industry, speedy completion of coordination with the relevant authorities, and speedy completion of the transport work.
