Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, approved an increase in the contracts of reward preachers attached to Clause 4/3, numbering 527 contractors, administrators attached to the same clause, numbering 232 contractors, contractors and those attached to the wage-for-work system at the expense of vows, and contractors under Clause 3/1.

This increase comes as a first stage within the Ministry’s plan to care for its employees and improve their financial conditions. This is in an effort to implement the presidential mandate to take care of imams and preachers, and to ensure that its employees gradually approach the minimum wage at the state level. In addition to determining the right of the above-mentioned groups to obtain paid annual leave, similar to employees working for the Ministry.
It is worth noting that the above is the first of the Ministry’s efforts to improve the conditions of its employees with self-financing, and other efforts will follow in succession, especially attention to reward preachers who are not contracted with the Ministry.

Studies are currently being prepared by the relevant authorities within the Ministry to determine the necessary improvements within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to care for all imams and preachers on whom the Ministry relies in implementing its strategies related to the four axes.
