The Minister of Education directs the preparation of remedial programs for students with poor reading and writing

This morning, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Major General Imad Kadwani, Governor of Minya, conducted an inspection tour of a number of schools in Minya Governorate. This is within the framework of the continuous tours conducted by the Minister in schools in various governorates to monitor the regularity of the educational process.

The Minister was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up.

The Minister of Education and the Governor of Minya began their tour by visiting the Amr Al-Saadi Abdel Hamid School for Basic Education, affiliated with the Edwa Educational Administration, which includes 474 male and female students.

The Minister and the Governor attended the morning assembly, followed the school radio segments, witnessed the flag salute and the national anthem, and praised the students’ performance and their skills in delivering the segments with skill and mastery.

The Minister and the Governor inspected a number of school classrooms, where the Minister was informed of the students’ performance in the class notebooks and students’ homework, and the extent of their commitment.

The Minister was also keen to monitor the level of students in reading and writing skills, and evaluate their performance, to ensure the level of their reading skills and understanding of lessons, and to determine their educational level.

The Minister directed the preparation of remedial programs for students with poor reading and writing, and monitoring the improvement of their educational level.

After that, the Minister and the Governor went to Al-Masid Primary School, affiliated with the Adwa Administration, in the morning period, which includes 936 male and female students, where he was keen to follow up on the students’ performance in their homework and class books, and the students’ performance level in reading and writing, and directed the implementation of remedial programs to improve the students’ performance level. He also directed that a committee be sent to the school to follow up on the implemented directives and measure the results of the students’ improved performance.

The Minister of Education and the Governor of Minya also went to the Martyr Muhammad Ibrahim Joint Secondary School affiliated with the Edwa Educational Administration, which includes 681 male and female students.

During their visit to the school, the Minister and the Governor followed up on the weekly evaluations of the students, where the Minister directed the commitment to conduct the evaluations prepared by the Ministry on a regular basis.

In the Maghagha Educational Administration, the Minister and the Governor inspected Kafr El-Madawar Primary School 2, which includes 642 male and female students, where they inspected a number of classes, reviewed the students’ grade books in the weekly evaluations, and directed the Minister to adhere to all homework and weekly evaluations prepared by the Ministry.

The tour also included an inspection of the Minister and the Governor of Maghagha Secondary School for Boys, which has a total number of 464 students, where they inspected a number of the school’s classrooms, and the Minister was keen to follow up on the commitment to conducting evaluations on a regular basis.

The Minister and the Governor concluded their tour by visiting Maghagha Preparatory School for Boys, which is attached to Maghagha Secondary School for Boys, in order to carry out maintenance work on the school, which has 436 students, as they were keen to follow up on the regularity of the educational process.

Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif stressed that the Ministry aims to enhance the quality of education and ensure the provision of the best educational opportunities for all students, thanking the Governor of Minya for the governorate’s efforts to develop the educational process and prepare schools to achieve the discipline of the educational system in the governorate.

For his part, the Governor of Minya appreciated the minister’s efforts to develop the educational process, and all the efforts made by the ministry to ensure the discipline of the educational process, stressing that the governorate is making every effort to ensure the discipline of the educational process and motivate students.
