The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Israel informed Washington of its intention to carry out a series of attacks in Lebanon In response to Hezbollah’s launching of missiles, pointing out that Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz approved plans to launch large-scale attacks on Hezbollah.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated that the security establishment believes that failure to respond strongly and immediately may harm the ceasefire for years, adding that the security establishment takes into account the possibility of Israel entering the fighting for several days.
Israeli raids on Lebanon
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation noted that the political level agreed to intensify the attacks on the Syrian-Lebanese border.
According to Lebanese media, Israeli warplanes raided this evening, targeting the towns of Arnoun, Basalia, Bureij, the heights of Jabal Safi and the outskirts of Louaize and Malikh in Iqlim al-Tuffah, amid intense reconnaissance flights.
An Israeli raid was also reported between the towns of Houmin al-Fawqa and Deir al-Zahrani, towards the river, the sound of which was heard loudly in Nabatieh.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that sirens were sounding in the Upper Galilee.
