The Ministry of Endowments announced the start of the final written and oral exams for the 31st International Holy Quran Competition, during the period from 7 to 10 December 2024.

It was decided that the preparatory tests to understand the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, its interpretation and aspects of its parsing, in addition to the similarities, will be conducted on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Al-Nour Mosque in Abbasiya, starting at nine-thirty in the morning.

The Ministry also clarifies the details of the preparatory tests for the branches: Qur’anic Family, Young People, and People of Determination, as the Qur’anic Family branch includes tests on similarities, understanding the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, and its parsing, with a total of marks distributed over the written test of 16 marks, and the oral test of 8 marks, in addition to 76 marks. A score for the oral test during the days of the competition at the Holy Quran House in the Administrative Capital.

The Al-Nasha branch exams include perfect memorization of the Holy Qur’an, with a focus on the interpretation of the twenty-ninth and thirty-ninth parts of the book Al-Bayan on the Selected in Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, with grades distributed as follows: the written test is 13 marks, the oral test is 7 marks, in addition to 80 marks allocated for Dar Al-Qur’an tests. The Ministry allocates special tests for the category of people of determination, which include memorization and interpretation, with interpretation of the thirtieth part of the Holy Qur’an through the book Al-Bayan Ali Al-Mukhtab in Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, with grades distributed as follows: 10 marks for the memorization test, 10 marks for the interpretation test, in addition to 80 marks allocated. For tests of Dar Al-Qur’an Al-Karim.

The Ministry affirms its keenness to provide a fair and equitable competitive environment for all participants, noting that the competition comes within its efforts aimed at deepening the correct understanding of the Holy Qur’an and encouraging emerging generations to adhere to its teachings.
