The monthly report issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics revealed that the general consumer price index for the entire republic reached (239.8) points for the month of November 2024, recording a decrease of (-0.1%) from the month of October 2024.
The report pointed to an increase in a number of commodities as follows:
An increase in the prices of the oils and fats group by (2.0%), the mineral and carbonated waters and natural juices group by (2.4%), the smoke group by (7.1%), the shoes group by (2.1%), and the electricity, gas and other fuel materials group by (3.1%). Home and garden tools and equipment group (3.7%).
The prices of the home furnishings group increased by (2.2%), the hospital services group by (1.3%), the outpatient services group by (1.2%), the private transportation expenditure group by (6.9%), and the transportation services group by (6.7%). ), cultural and entertainment services group (13.3%).
The prices of the telephone and fax services equipment group increased by (2.2%), the audio, video, photographic, and information processing equipment group by (1.8%), the hotel services group by (0.6%), the personal luggage group by (1.5%), and the personal care group by ( 1.1%).
The report indicated a decrease in the prices of the cereals and bread group by (-0.3%), the meat and poultry group by (-3.0%), the fruit group by (-0.4%), the vegetables group by (-12.4%), and the organized tourist trips group by (- 0.2%).
The annual inflation rate for the entire republic was (25.0%) for the month of November 2024, compared to (26.3%) for the month of October 2024.
