Borrell added, during a press conference accompanied by Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, that the European Union will do everything in its power to show the atrocities occurring against children in the Gaza Strip, and that the massacres in the Gaza Strip must stop and the international community must intervene to achieve this.
Joseph Borrell explained that the International Criminal Court’s order to arrest Netanyahu and Gallant is not political and the court’s decision must be respected and implemented.
In the same context, Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp announced his country’s readiness to implement the International Criminal Court order against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Galant for committing war crimes in Gaza.
The court said it had reasonable grounds to charge Netanyahu and Gallant with war crimes, noting that Israel’s recognition of the court’s jurisdiction is not required to implement arrest warrants.
