The General Authority of Meteorology warned of a situation the weather In Egypt today, Thursday, November 28, 2024, as the country is witnessing a rise in temperatures.

Weather conditions in Egypt today, Thursday

The General Authority of Meteorology explained in a statement that the country is witnessing cold weather at night and in the early morning, while the weather tends to be cold during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, and northern Upper Egypt, and the temperature is moderate in South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

Expected weather phenomena

The Mediterranean Sea is experiencing light to moderate weather conditions, with waves rising from 1 to 1.5 metres, and the Red Sea is witnessing moderate weather conditions, with waves rising from 1.5 to 2 metres.

It is expected that water mist and moderate wind activity will prevail in Greater Cairo, South Lower Egypt, and the Canal cities, with moderate wind activity of 24 km/h, and the weather will be cloudy.

The northwestern and northern coasts of Lower Egypt are dominated by water mist, with chances of light rain that may be moderate at intermittent periods, wind activity at a rate of 26 km/h, and the weather will be cloudy.

As for the northeastern and central Sinai coasts, there is water mist, and there are chances of light rain that may be moderate on areas of the eastern coasts at intermittent intervals. Wind activity at a rate of 22 km/h, and the weather will be partly cloudy.

South Sinai and the Red Sea mountain ranges witness wind activity at times at a rate of 32 km/h, while northern Upper Egypt is dominated by water mist and wind activity at times at a value of 30 km/h, and in South Upper Egypt the wind activity rate is 20 km/h, and the weather is partly cloudy.
