Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor, visited AssiutAl-Walidiya Sports Club in the Al-Walidiya area in the eastern district of Assiut, as part of its ongoing field tours in all sectors, to follow up on the progress of work and the extent of providing services to citizens of all categories, especially with the state’s interest, led by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, in supporting clubs and youth centers to develop talents and encourage young people. To participate and practice various sports and achieve advanced positions.

He was accompanied during the tour by Ahmed Al-Suwaifi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Assiut, and Ahmed Thabet, Head of the East Assiut District.
The governor was keen to inspect the gyms, directing them to be rehabilitated and to raise their efficiency. He also met with a number of young people and club workers and listened to them and their demands.
The Governor of Assiut stressed the need to develop the club and raise its efficiency to encourage youth and young people to practice sports and hone the talents and skills of young people in various sports activities, as it serves as an incubator for sports talents to qualify them, train them, push them in sports competitions and tournaments, and create spaces for them to be creative in these activities, and an opportunity to discover sports talents. In addition to enhancing the spirit of teamwork among young people, which reflects positively on the development of their personalities, pointing to the governorate’s interest and support for sports clubs, especially distinguished ones, out of belief in the role of sports. And the social and youth activities that it performs.
