Fakhri Al-Feki, Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Planning and Budget Committee, said that there are large dollar flows to Egypt amounting to $15.5 billion, despite the global crises.
The head of the House of Representatives’ Plan and Budget Committee explained during television statements that the price of the dollar in the Egyptian market does not exceed 50 pounds, denying rumors that circulated about it reaching 60 or 70 pounds.
He also stressed that any decision to float the pound will be official and transparently announced by the relevant authorities.
