It is noteworthy that Mohamed El-Sawy, head of the medical staff at Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria, revealed the injury situation of Mahdi Soliman, the goalkeeper of the club’s first football team, after he left the team’s match against Talaea El-Geish injured.
The Al-Ittihad Alexandria doctor said in television statements: Al-Mahdi Suleiman was injured in his shin.
He continued: The x-rays determine the status of Mahdi Suleiman’s injury and the duration of his absence. He will need approximately a month and a half after the injury, but the x-rays are what will determine the condition accurately.
Earlier, Mahdi Soliman, the goalkeeper of the first football team of Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria and the Egyptian national team, suffered a severe injury during the team’s match against Tala’ea El-Geish in the Premier League.
In the 20th minute, Mahdi Suleiman suffered a severe injury after a collision with Karim Tariq, Talaea El Gaish striker, while playing the ball inside the penalty area.
Mahdi Soliman left the match in an ambulance after being injured, before his colleague Sobhi Soliman came on as a substitute and the match resumed.
The match between Al-Ittihad of Alexandria and Talaea El-Geish ended with the visitors winning with a 1-0 win in the final hour, after the two teams met in the third match of the first day of the fourth round of the Premier League competition.
