The Deputy Prime Minister witnesses the opening of a pharmaceutical exhibition within the activities of the Council of Arab Health Ministers in Iraq

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Health and Population, and Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, witnessed the opening of the medicines exhibition, which is being held as part of the activities of the second day of the Council of Arab Health Ministers in Iraq, in its 61st session.

This came in the presence of Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, Minister of Health of the Republic of Iraq, Chairman of the current session of the Council of Arab Health Ministers, and Ambassador Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Social Affairs Sector.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, stressed the importance of participation that contributes to consolidating cooperation relations between Arab countries in all their common fields and sectors, pointing out that this participation reflects the extent of the Egyptian state’s keenness to strengthen economic and investment relations.

Enhancing communication and exchanging experiences and innovations

Abdul Ghaffar said that the minister inspected all the exhibition’s pavilions, stressing its importance in enhancing communication and exchanging experiences and innovations, which supports the development of the medical sector and contributes to improving health services. It is also an opportunity to display the latest pharmaceutical products and technologies, which helps meet market needs and provide advanced medical solutions. .

Abdul Ghaffar explained that the Minister praised the activities of the Council and the exhibition, pointing out the importance of strengthening cooperation between health institutions locally, Arably and internationally, and providing the opportunity to build strategic partnerships that contribute to enhancing public health and supporting sustainable development in this vital field.

Abdul Ghaffar added that the opening of the pharmaceutical exhibition is a vital event to promote innovation in the health sector, as it provides an opportunity to showcase the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry and medical technologies, allowing the exchange of ideas and promoting joint research. The exhibition also supports awareness of the importance of using medicines safely and effectively.

Abdul Ghaffar continued that the exhibition highlights new products that meet the growing needs of patients, in addition to contributing to strengthening the economy by opening new investment horizons for local and international companies, which enhances the growth of the health sector and supports the infrastructure and technologies necessary to achieve higher quality in health care.
