The caravan activities will continue from Sunday, December 7, 2024 until Wednesday, December 10, 2024, at the Rawda Martyrs Youth Center.

The event was attended by Dr. Mohamed Rifai, CEO of the Misr El Kheir Foundation, a number of leaders of the Misr El Kheir Foundation, Dr. Hossam Mowafi, a pioneer in internal medicine, and a number of executive and popular leaders and members of the parliamentary group.

For her part, the Minister of Local Development stressed the importance of this convoy, which is part of the initiatives aimed at providing integrated health services to the people of the border areas, as it includes a wide range of medical specialties to serve all the people of the targeted areas, noting the need for all citizens to benefit from this convoy, which aims to Improving the quality of health services and reducing the burden on the people of the region, by providing distinguished medical care under the supervision of an elite group of specialized doctors and medical teams equipped with the latest equipment, noting that this step comes within the framework of the state’s commitment to developing the sector. Health and enhancing the health and safety of citizens in North Sinai.

The convoy targets 400: 500 eligible people in all specialties, and the medical convoy includes 8 specialties: “internal medicine – orthopedics – children – ear and nose – dermatology – surgery – urology – women”, in addition to a comprehensive pharmacy containing all types of medicine according to the medical specialties. Providing an immediate medical analysis laboratory that shows the results within a maximum of 12 minutes to determine the accurate diagnosis to help doctors prescribe the appropriate medical treatment for each eligible person, and provides medical convoys at the Misr Foundation. Al-Khair: Post-convoy medical referrals, including specialized x-rays and major, minor and medium surgeries, free of charge for those eligible for the convoy.

Dr. Hossam Mowafy, pioneer of critical care medicine in Egypt and professor at Kasr Al-Aini, Cairo University, delivered an awareness lecture entitled “Your Health in the World.”

The Minister of Local Development, the Minister of Solidarity, and the Governor of North Sinai also inspected the products of the project to promote sustainable development in the governorate, which is implemented by the Local Community Development Association in Al-Joura, where 20 women from the governorate are the first to sponsor the production of kilims, in addition to the exhibition of handicrafts and Bedouin heritage, held at the Shuhada Youth Center. Al-Rawda, which comes within the framework of the state’s efforts to support craft and heritage industries and encourage small and micro enterprise owners, with the aim of promoting economic development and economic empowerment of women and providing job opportunities for the people of the governorate.

The exhibition included a variety of Bedouin and handicraft products, including handmade carpets and Bedouin embroidery, in addition to some food products for which the governorate is famous, such as: “Arabic coffee and dates.” The exhibition also witnessed a wide participation of craftsmen and a large presence of Sinai women.

The Minister of Local Development also praised the quality of the products displayed, stressing the Ministry’s keenness to support traditional and handicrafts in all governorates, including North Sinai, which reflects the cultural heritage of Sinai and enhances the capabilities of handicrafts, noting that such exhibitions contribute to opening new horizons for marketing products locally and supporting the economy. families for local communities.
