Taha Ezzat said in television statements: In the coming period, no decision will be made on any punishment based on a video clip alone. In order to achieve justice, the entire match tape must be present, not just the television broadcast, and no reliance should be made on external video clips.
He added: There are many workshops that took place before the international break, and there are many after it in the coming period for observers. The match observer must be well trained. The observer must see all the matters that take place in the match, and he should not take decisions after being told anything by people. Others without seeing the events personally. This is the important point that is being worked on with the observers. In recent matches, I was present with the observers in order to implement this matter.
Regarding the age of the observers, he continued: The goal of all observers is to carry out the work regardless of age. After that, we will add new, young elements. There are many things that the observer must do before and after the match. There is a checklist of tasks in order to go through them beforehand. Supervisors, in order to add new elements, we must work with them for several months to train them to work well, and at the same time there are many good competencies, but I cannot blame them because they do not know the new system. I set a work system and if it is not followed then I will blame. Observers.
He continued: All the clubs that attended the workshops felt that they hoped that we would be in a better position in the coming period. I did not imagine the support from the clubs in Egypt. We imposed severe penalties on players in matches. The regulations are new with their own penalties, and therefore in the event of incorrect behavior by… The clubs will be aware of the penalty before it is issued by us.
Regarding the system for selecting the man of the match, he continued: There is a committee of analysts from the channel that broadcasts the match, including the match’s commentator. They are responsible for choosing the man of the match. The competitions administration will be notified on the group and he will reach the observer immediately on the field.
He continued: The Premier League started at the beginning of this month. We started the league late and at the same time we want to finish early. Our space does not exceed 6 months. There are no large spaces. Any circumstances beyond our control will cause the league to be delayed, but it is scheduled to end on time. Which was previously set for May 30.
He added: There will certainly be postponements in the coming period, especially for Al-Ahly Club, which will play a number of matches in more than one competition. These matters will be coordinated with the company and work will be done on them.
He concluded: The Competitions Committee is the backbone of the competition. If you succeed in managing the competition, your market value will increase, of course. Compliance with the laws and regulations will be in the interest of the clubs.
