Dr. Al-Tayeb Abbas, CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, delivered a welcome speech during the ceremony, expressing his happiness at this celebration and the museum’s keenness to participate in this important event and support the campaign’s humanitarian and charitable activities, praising the campaign’s role in giving hope to all patients around the world and challenging all disease conditions. Documentary films were also shown about the journey of the struggle of the athlete Anwar El-Kamouni, the international tennis player, against cancer, and the previous seasons of the “Givers of Hope” campaign, and about the efforts and achievements of the Egyptian state in the field of sports and supporting people of determination, and some musical and lyrical segments were presented that dazzled the audience, in addition to A tour of the museum’s various halls during which attendees learn about the history of the museum and its archaeological collections that tell the history of ancient Egyptian civilization.

A dialogue session, sponsored by UNESCO, was also organized at the museum’s theatre, on women’s empowerment, which dealt with stories of success and inspiration, moderated by artist Gila Clara Cassius, representative of UNESCO, in the presence of Egyptian and international speakers.

In a related context, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, organized a tourist trip for the guests participating in the closing activities of the fourth edition of the Global Givers of Hope campaign, which included a visit and tour of the Giza Pyramids area, during which they listened to a detailed explanation of the history of this archaeological area and the ancient Egyptian genius in building… The pyramids and the sculpture of the Sphinx, and they were also keen to take souvenir photos.
