Ben Gvir also appealed to the Israeli Prime Minister to continue the war, indicating that the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon must not be complied with, and that Israel must continue the war.
Israel gave the green light to sign the settlement with Lebanon
In a related context, the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth confirmed, citing Lebanese, American and Israeli sources, that Israel gave the green light to sign the settlement with Lebanon, on the condition that a final decision is issued by the Council of Ministers.
The newspaper reported that US President Joe Biden’s special envoy to the region, Amos Hockstein, informed Lebanon of this on Sunday evening.
