The Armed Forces organized the medical conference for neurosurgery at the International Medical Center, which was implemented over several days, with the participation of an elite group of Egyptian and foreign professors and experts specializing in the field of neurosurgery in the Armed Forces and Egyptian universities.
During the conference activities, Major General Dr. Yasser Abdel Aziz, Director of the International Medical Center, gave a speech in which he pointed out that the conference represents an opportunity to exchange training skills and develop the capabilities and abilities of doctors in a way that helps in providing distinguished medical services to citizens.
Dr. Ibrahim Owais, President of the Egyptian Society of Neurosurgery, gave a speech in which he thanked the armed forces for their efforts in supporting the medical system.
Emphasizing the importance of organizing these conferences to contribute to enriching the medical field with the latest technological techniques and scientific research in various medical specialties.
The activities included the implementation of many discussion sessions and training workshops that dealt with practical training on the latest diagnostic and therapeutic methods for brain and nerve diseases, in addition to discussing a number of complex medical cases and surgical intervention procedures using advanced medical devices.
The conference activities were attended by Major General Doctor Eid Al-Taweel, Advisor to the Minister of Defense for Medical Education, and a number of experts and specialists in the field of neurosurgery.
This comes within the framework of the General Command of the Armed Forces’ keenness to qualify medical personnel and exchange scientific expertise in accordance with the latest findings in medical sciences.
