The Academy of Scientific Research organizes a symposium for Egyptian scientists listed in the top 2%

The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announced the organization of a virtual symposium entitled Insights from scientists listed in the top 2% in terms of the number of times their research has been cited in their scientific fields.

The Academy of Scientific Research organizes a symposium for Egyptian scientists included in the top 2% list

This comes within the framework of the activities of the Scientific and Cultural Relations Sector, which is organized by the National Committee for Communications and Information Technology, one of the scientific formations affiliated with the Academy.

The symposium will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at exactly seven in the evening. The symposium marks the inclusion of Dr. Ahmed Khattab, President of the National Telecommunications Institute, Dr. Diaa Salama, Head of the Data Science Department at Misr International University, and Dr. Khaled Hosni, Chairman of the Science Promotion Committee. Computers and Information Sciences at the Supreme Council of Universities, among Stanford University’s list of the top 2% of the world’s most cited scientists for the year 2024, in order to share their distinguished experiences, the latest research trends, and their ideas about the future of their specializations with young scientists, researchers, and graduate students at universities and research institutes. On the other hand, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Governor of North Sinai, held an extensive meeting with the leaders of the Directorate of Education, a number of teachers in the governorate, directors of educational departments, and a number of students at the International Youth City in Al-Arish. This is within the framework of continuous efforts to develop and maintain the quality of the educational process in the governorate.

This came in the presence of Major General Assem Saadoun, Deputy Governor, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning and Follow-up, Hamza Radwan, Director of the Directorate of Education in the Governorate, and the leaders of the Directorate of Education in the Governorate.
