Abdel Hamid Bassiouni had previously given the players of Talaia El Gaish a 48-hour break from group training, following the victory over Al-Ittihad Alexandria team with a goal without a response in the fourth round of the Premier League competition.
Earlier, Abdel Hamid Bassiouni, the technical director of the Talaea El Gaish team, expressed his happiness over the victory over his counterpart, Al-Ittihad Alexandria, with a clean goal in the league.
Bassiouni said in television statements: I am happy with the victory over Al-Ittihad Al-Alexandria among its fans, and I thank the players for their adherence to the instructions, and they played a strong match on the defensive and offensive levels.
He continued: We created many opportunities, and our goal only received two or three attacks, continuing: 3 points push us forward and make us believe in ourselves. We achieved 7 points in 4 matches, and 3 away matches were played against Al-Masry – Al-Mahalla – Al-Ittihad fan clubs.
Abdel Hamid Bassiouni continued: We want to be in the top 9 in any position, to ensure staying in the league and staying away from the relegation struggle.
The technical director of the Vanguards of the Army team concluded: Mahdi Suleiman suffered a sudden injury, and suffered a fracture in the ankle of his foot, and he was going through his best period, and I wish him a speedy return.
